Technologist
I love technology…more precisely, I love the thoughtful and elegant implementation of technology. Go here to discover what it means to be a Technologist to me.
Strategist
As the quintessential ENTJ personality type, with the innate ability to see the big picture, I favor discovering creative pathways over mucking through the trivialities of detail. Once the way is clear, I often feel compelled to bring it about…and have a very hard time taking no for an answer.
Team Leader
No man, or woman, is an island. There are exceptions of course, some people can perform at exceptional levels. But by and large, if you want to get things done, there’s no substitute for a strong team headed by a capable leader. Here’s my thoughts on team leadership.

Enterprise Architect
This is the role that most closely describes my work experience over the past 15 years or so. The Enterprise Architect analyzes business structure and processes and is called upon to provide strategy, recommend, manage, architect, and lead the creation, enhancement and maintenance of systems that support business objectives. I have done this for Fortune 5′s to small businesses and everything in between, for multiple industries and domains.
Web Application Designer
A well thought out and well designed application, is one that is centered around the user’s need, the way they work, the way the user thinks. It is NOT a simple conglomeration of requirements. Great attention must be given to usability, program flow, and presentation. Simple is better, elegant is best. Ironically, it is difficult to create a simple application, this is one of my strengths. Apple Evangelist/Media Expert
Apple is my model for technology elegance, and Steve Jobs my role model for realizing innovative excellence. I bought my first Macintosh the day it was introduced back in 1984, and have been enchanted and enriched ever since with the industrial design, attention to human factors and operating excellence, and have endeavored to emulate it in all my ventures.

Futures Trader/Financial Analyst
Over the past 5 years or so, I have published financial analysis in the form of newsletters, blogs, videos and online-seminars, for several thousand readers, primarily centered around techniques for trading futures. I ran a small hedge fund and a trade room that implemented statistical arbitrage strategies. I have also produced many videos on trading strategies and discipline.
Social Maven?
Active in social media with 50K followers on this Twitter account and another 50k on a few other accounts. I maintain a strong presence on Facebook and LinkedIn, and built an enthusiastic following on YouTube with hundreds of instructional and analytical videos on trading, the financial markets, Apple, Rhodesian Ridgebacks, and Philosophy.
